Conduits were run under the concrete pad among four stations and the central pier location, to allow flexibilty in interconnections and eliminate tripping hazards. The telescope pier foundation, at right, is already poured and curing. The cylindrical form allows the pier foundation to extend above ground to the same level as the remaining concrete pad.
